Jeff & Nichole Gaffney
Nichole brings more than 12 years of baking experience, including work in a professional bakery, specialized training in cake decorating, and experience in high-end food service. Her passion for baking and creating quality homemade foods serves as the foundation for many of the products, recipes, and educational content shared through Gaffney Homestead.
Jeff is a licensed optician with a passion for hands-on projects and practical problem-solving. From building chicken coops and homestead structures to installing irrigation systems and maintaining property infrastructure, he enjoys developing the systems and projects that help support the family's homesteading goals.
Having called North Florida home for more than 30 years, Jeff and Nichole are committed to faith, family, and the pursuit of a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Together, they enjoy gardening, raising chickens, beekeeping, baking, and sharing their homesteading experiences with others.
They are also the proud adoptive parents of three wonderful boys who share their enthusiasm for gardening, caring for animals, and participating in daily homestead life. As a family, they seek to cultivate a home grounded in faith, responsibility, hard work, continuous learning, and a deep appreciation for God's creation.
At the heart of Gaffney Homestead is a desire to live intentionally, learn new skills, and grow together as a family. Through each success and challenge, they strive to teach their children the value of perseverance, stewardship, and pursuing God-given dreams.
Above all, Jeff and Nichole desire that their family, their work, and their homesteading journey bring honor and glory to God. Their mission is guided by the words of 1 Corinthians 10:31
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God."
Whether tending the garden, caring for livestock, baking fresh bread, building projects, or spending time together as a family, their goal is to faithfully steward the blessings God has entrusted to them and encourage others along the way.
